Our Mission: To ensure rescue, rehabilitation, retirement and to rehome unwanted, abused or neglected equines, and to help put an end to horse slaughter. We also work hard to endorse responsible ownership and awareness to all on the plight of the equine.

HAY, HAY, HAY

It is that time of year again when we need to ask for help with our hay fund. We will be feeding 4 horses and two mini's this year. We get it from a supplier I have been using for many years and it is more than a fair price for around here, it is always clean and without mold or dust. It is a timothy/orchard grass mix. We also get a few of just the soft orchard grass for Mariah since she does not chew timothy very well anymore. After several donations and monies used from summer fundraisers we are still in need of $2390

If you can only help out with 1 bale or a few that would be great. Every dollar adds up and will get us that much closer to meeting our goal and securing our winter hay. I appreciate each and every one of you who donates and helps me keep the horses at FTER safe and happy.

Be an ANGEL and donate much needed funds to support and help these beautiful horses have a second chance

Becoming an Angel for one of the horses here at FTER is very rewarding and heart warming. Each month each horse has to be wormed, their feet trimmed and they have feed expenses. Some require special feed or supplements. We do our best here at FTER to meet all these needs ourselves but it helps to have a few angels to be able to donate and help us to continue to save, rehabilitate and take care of these precious animals. When you become an angel you send a donation each month for the horse of your choices care. This donation may as little as $10 a month or more but with your help we can make a difference in these horses lives. As an angel you will receive monthly updates and a picture of your angeled horse. If you are close enough to our rescue visits are always welcome on the weekends with just a phone call to let me know you are coming. You can angel this horse as long as you like until his forever home is found. If you so choose you can then pick another to angel at that time. I cannot express enough thanks for anyone who is presently an angel or someone thinking of becoming one. I treasure each and every minute I have loving and taking care of these horses everyday.
